Falls Cable has recently undergone significant upgrades to our equipment – new digital cameras in the studio and new central control, graphics and sound stations in the control room. In early December we will once again be producing our own monthly shows – On the Ridge, Over the Falls, Along the River – in the studio at Mohawk Regional.
We also broadcast and tape programs in conjunction with Mohawk Regional, like the recent taping of the Rock Band students concert in the auditorium that also featured local band Trailer Park. The annual Mary Lyons Spelling Bee will be shown live on Nov. 13 and rebroadcast on later dates.
We continue to broadcast live, and taped for future re-broadcasts, the Shelburne and Buckland Select Board meetings.
These programs are available on Comcast Channel 17 and our own shows and the Select Board meetings, recent and past, are also available here on this web site.
Falls Cable is highly dependent on volunteers to make these shows possible. We need more volunteers for the upcoming in-studio season starting in December. If you’d like to learn how to operate a camera, work the sound board, create and insert graphics into the shows, work with the show hosts and guests and other studio or control room activities contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can set up a studio tour and initial training.
Would you like to get in front of the camera and host a show? Do you have an idea for a show? Contact us about that too.
We hope you’ll join us in making Falls Cable a true community TV station.
